Open resourceSafety basics
Snow, tanks, and leak checks matter.
Keep snow and ice away from regulators and access points. Never ignore a suspected leak; call your supplier or emergency services from a safe location.
When in doubt, leave first.
If you smell propane, avoid flames and switches, leave the area, and call for help from a safe location.
